COLUMBIA, Mo. - The William Jewell cross country teams hit the road on Friday morning for the Gans Creeks Classic, hosted by the University of Missouri. The men's team finished 15th overall while the women were 16th.

WOMEN (6K)

• Lottie Vickers paced the Jewell women, posting a collegiate best mark in the 6K of 27:01.30. 
• Three freshmen followed as Landen Wilson crossed the line at 27:57.60, Audriana Rodriguez in 29:00.50 and Sadie Camp at 29:17.20. 
• Svea Pierson rounded out the group at 32:36.20

MEN (8K)

• Harley Branch led the Cardinal men, finishing in 30:01.70 while Samson Selleck followed closely at 30:36.00.
• Kavan Phillips crossed the end line with a time of  32:39.30 while Justin Edwards posted a mark of 37:49.40. 
• Landis Johnson wrapped up the group at 48:55.70.

Jewell is off until October 7 when they travel to the Haskell Invitational.
