LIBERTY, Mo. – The William Jewell women's soccer dropped a 5-0 contest to the Missouri S&T Miners Friday evening. The loss gives Jewell a 3-9-2 regular season record and a 2-7-2 GLVC mark.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Nine minutes into the game S&T got on the board. Four minutes later a tall shot from Riley Frasure-Smith was stopped by the Miners' keeper. 
• Later in the half the junior collected another shot on goal, while freshman Maddy Follmer got off a pair of shots
• The Cardinals had only two shots in the second half, while the Miners tallied two more goals to win, 5-0.

• Jewell was outshot 13-9, including a 8-1 clip for shots on goal.
• Jenna Skeeters got the home start for the Cardinals, grabbing three saves.
