ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The William Jewell men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 contest versus UMSL Friday night. The loss gives the Cardinals a 5-8-3 record in the regular season and a Jewell a 3-8-2 conference mark.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Jewell had three shots out of the gate, including two on goal by Zach Nichols and Alexis Ibarra but the Tritons found the scoreboard in the 26' to lead 1-0 in the beginning half.
• After a 58' minute goal, Walker Bond, Henry Staebell, and Ibarra all tried to find the back of the net, but Jewell couldn't recover and suffered the 2-0 loss.

 
KEY STATS

• Staring keeper Umberto DiCarlo logged five saves in nearly 80 minutes of action, while Max Cooley stood in goal for the last 11 minutes.
• Ibarra had three shots, including two on goal, while both of Bond's shots were on goal.
