LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell men's lacrosse team faced a tough challenge on Saturday afternoon as they hosted No. 10 Indianapolis. The Cardinals fell 14-1, dropping to 6-5 on the season and 0-2 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• UIndy looked to take an early lead but Fynn Ziebarth turned away three shots over the first five minutes. The Greyhounds got on the board with a goal with 9:56 to go in the first period on their way to outscoring Jewell 11-0 in the first half. 
• Tanner Garcia got the Cardinals on the board early in the third quarter with a goal. 
• Jewell got off six shots in the fourth period but could not find the goal, falling 14-1.  

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Jewell was out shot 50-17 and forced 23 UIndy turnovers. 
• Nathaniel Leroux led the team with three shots while Jake Nielsen and Zach Johnson caused three turnovers a piece. 
• Ziebarth finished with a game high 18 saves.
