Quincy, Ill. – The William Jewell men's soccer team lost on the road 2-0 to the Quincy University Hawks at Legends Stadium. The Cardinals fall to 2-6-2 overall and 1-4-2 in the GLVC. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• In the eighth minute Quincy's got on the board early with a goal to take a 1-0 lead.
• Later in the half Eric Bylund had a shot but it missed high.
• After another Hawks goal Jewell put more shots up in the second half from Zach Nichols, Miles Heckadon, and Javier Ortiz but could not find the back of the neck.

KEY STATS

• Aldo Bryant finished the game with five acrobatic saves.
• The Cardinals out-shot the Hawks 16-12, with both teams putting seven on frame. 
• Nichols had five shots, two of which were on goal.
