LEBANON, Ill. - The William Jewell volleyball team wrapped up the 2025 season on Saturday afternoon, falling 3-0 to McKendree University. The Cardinals finish the year, 4-23 overall. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Jewell started strong, tying the game at 13-all after back-to-back kills from Caroline Beckmann and Kelsey Keling but the Bearcats followed with a 12-1 run to run away with the set. 
• McKendree took the lead early in the second set, 20-8, and never looked back, winning 25-13. 
• Set three was back-and-forth most of the way, but a late 4-1 spurt by the hosts allowed them to escape with a 25-21 win. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Beckmann led the offense with nine kills while Reaghan Bible handed out 23 assists to go with her three aces. 
• Wylie Singleton had with three blocks with Brianna Witthar and Madison Roney finishing nine digs each.
