CORALVILLE, Iowa – William Jewell women's wrestling concluded their 2024-25 campaign at the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships on Saturday, while sophomore
Alex Waitsman leaves earning All-America honors, the first in program history.
Currently ranked No. 7 in the 117 lb class, Waitsman went 4-2 in the two day event where she capped off her run with her second win of the weekend versus No. 8 Shea Seisel of Lindenwood University. Her 7
th place finish redeemeds the W
oodland Hills, CA native with All-America honors after falling a match shy last year.
Jewell also saw
Emarie Bolosan finish top-16 and
Shelby Kemp finish top-12 to end the season, going 2-2 and 3-2 respectively.
