LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell track and field teams made appearances at both the Kansas Relays and Pitt State Tune Up over the weekend, where one record fell at each event. 

KANSAS RELAYS
WOMEN

• 800 meters: Landen Wilson was 10th overall with a time of 2:25.14.

MEN

• Pole Vault: Lukas LePage finished 11th in the field  with a vault of 4.52 meters. 
• 110 Meter Hurdles: Adam Hoffman placed 32nd with a time of 16.75.
• 400 Meter Hurdles: Daniel Williams crossed the line at 56.30 to place 23rd.
• 400 Meters: Bryce Mitchell jumped up to second all-time with a time of 47.46 in the prelims while Connor Hull finished at 48.80.
• 4x400 Relay: The team of Konner Poynter, Bryce Mitchell, Kain Sourbeer, and Connor Hull ran a school record 3:17.06 to qualify for the final.

PITTSBURG STATE TUNE-UP
WOMEN

• 100 Meter Hurdles: Caroline Mayes finished fourth overall, setting a school record with a mark of 13.67.
• Discus: Cydney Banks took fifth place with a mark of 45.67 meters, second all-time, while Bobbie Pollard was 19th in the field at 37.05 meters.
• Shot Put: Banks took sixth place with a throw of 13.79 meters while Pollard posted a 12.32 meter performance.
• Hammer Throw: Banks and Jada Alfaro posted marks of 52.46 meters and 45.37 meters to finish fifth and 13th, respectively. Pollard added a throw of 41.29 meters for 18th place.
• Javelin: Aubrey Harris posted a mark of 26.73 meters followed by Tatyana Turner at 20.46 meters.

MEN

• 400 Meters: Kain Sourbeer placed ninth in the event at 50.20.
• 200 Meters: Sourbeer added a 22.50 time to place 33rd.
• Discus: Korbin Dow led two Cardinals in the event with a toss of 41.18 meters while Bradan Dickinson finished at 39.61 meters.
• Shot Put: Dickinson placed among the top-30 with a throw of 12.35 meters.
• Hammer Throw: Dickinson picked up his highest finish of the day at fifth with a mark of 53.58 meters, tenth best all-time. Dow also posted a mark of 41.89 meters.
