SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The William Jewell women's basketball team suffered an 84-34 loss at the hands of Drury University on Saturday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action. The Cardinals drop to 0-11 on the year and 0-4 in league play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Drury started fast, taking a 26-7 lead after the opening quarter as Jewell shot just 13% in the frame, compared to 60% by the Panthers.
• Mandi Pham hit two triples midway through the second period with Chanelle Anderson adding a bucket just before the half to take 46-19 at the break.
• Maja Komaszynska scored seven points in the third quarter as Jewell was outscored 38-15 in the second half as Drury rolled to the win.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Syderah Farmer finished with a team high nine points while Rylee Thomas had five rebounds. 
• Jewell was limited to 22% from the field and got 13 points from the bench.
