TIFFIN, OHIO - The William Jewell men's lacrosse team picked up their fourth straight win to open the season on Friday afternoon with an 11-6 victory at Tiffin University. The Cardinals improve to 4-0 on the season, already doubling their win total from last season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Jewell jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead but both teams were scoreless for the next four-plus minutes. Seth Heath ended the drought before Tiffin got on the board less than a minute later as it was 4-1 after the first quarter. 
• The Cardinals had a slim 3-2 edge in the second period behind goals from Nathaniel Leroux, Hudson Parnell, and Carson Wright to hold a 7-3 advantage at the half. 
• Both teams scored twice in the third before Jewell held the Dragons to just a single goal in the fourth to cruise to the five goal win. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Heath led the offense with three goals while Leroux also had three points with a score and two assists. Wright scored twice on a team high four shots on goal. 
• Parnell and Brenner Mitts picked up a team best four ground balls. 
• Isaac Kessler posted 11 saves and picked up his fourth win in goal. 
• Jewell out shot the Dragons 32-27 and was 18-of-20 on clear attempts.
