INDIANAPOLIS - The season's first set of NCAA Division II men's basketball regional rankings were announced on Wednesday, with William Jewell listed among those receiving postseason consideration. The Cardinals were one of 10 teams on initial list in the Midwest Region, with the top eight to make the NCAA-II National Tournament in March.
This year, the first
regional rankings included teams in alphabetical order only, with actual rankings set to be included in next week's release. Selection Sunday comes on March 8 when the 64-team NCAA DII Championship field, eight from each region, will be announced on NCAA.com.
