Cardinal Track & Field Continue Season At Central Missouri

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Cardinal Track & Field competed at the CMU Invite over the weekend.

WOMEN

200 Meter: Lux Sands finished 19^th (26.03) while junior Leila Moore was five spots behind her clocking a time of 26.26. Kennedy Vernon ran a 27.25 while freshman Phia Vogel was 43^rd at 28.14. Maddy Follmer rounded out the group at 28.94.
400 Meter: Moore finshed in 16^th, the highest of the Cardinals with a time of 1:00.99. Follmer was clocked at 1:05.92, good for 33^rd.
Shotput: Chanelle Anderson was measured at 10.42 meters, good for 22^nd.

MEN

200 Meter: Connor Hull led all Cardinal runners in the event with a sixth place finish (21.26), while junior Daniel Williams ran a 21.90 for 19^th place. Konner Poynter was 25^th clocking a 22.22 second race while Chance Pinkston was behind him at 22.68. Kain Sourbeer and Peyton Harris rounded out the group with times of 23.06 and 23.36, respectively.
400 Meter Hurdles: Konner Poynter won the overall event, his first place finish taking place in 53.94 seconds. Senior Mason Sullivan was timed at 56.91.
800 Meter: Sincere Davis's time was within two seconds of first at 1:57.84 seconds.
3000 Meter: Kavan Phillips clocked a 11:59.26, finishing 20^th.
Discus: Keonne Gladden was the highest finishing Cardinal at 41.88 meters, good for 22^nd. Korbin Dow was measured at 37.39 meters.
Shotput: Gladden was top-10, finishing eighth with a 15.09 meter toss. Dow threw a 12.04 meter in his last attempt.
