Fourteen Jewell Programs Pick Up Team Academic All-GLVC Awards

INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced its 2025-26 Team Academic All-GLVC honorees on Monday, recognizing a Conference-record 219 teams from 20 schools for their academic success during the past academic year.
 
The award is presented annually to teams that maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or higher during the academic year. This year's total includes representatives from all 15 full-time GLVC member schools and five associate members, establishing a new Conference record for teams recognized.

For the Cardinals, 14 programs earned the honor led by women's golf at 3.70, followed by softball (3.67), men's tennis (3.66), women's swimming (3.64), women's soccer (3.62), women's basketball (3.54), men's swimming (3.48), men's soccer (3.43), women's lacrosse (3.42), women's tennis (3.42), men's basketball (3.41), volleyball (3.35), men's golf (3.34), men's track & field (3.34)
 
Illinois Springfield's women's tennis team posted the highest GPA among all Conference programs in 2025-26 with a 3.92 mark. Maryville's men's cross country team ranked second overall with a 3.88 GPA, followed by Southwest Baptist women's tennis (3.86), Maryville women's cross country (3.83), and Missouri-St. Louis women's basketball (3.83).
 
Rockhurst paced all GLVC schools with a Conference-best 20 teams earning Team Academic All-GLVC recognition. Maryville followed closely with 19 honored programs, while Lewis recorded 18 recipients. Drury, Illinois Springfield, Indianapolis, and Quincy each placed at least 15 teams on the list.
