LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell women's soccer home opener on Wednesday September 2 has been moved to 10:00 AM. The game will be available to watch on the GLVC Sports Network.

The Cardinals return to Liberty after a season-opening weekend that saw Jewell face a pair of MIAA opponents, opening their year against the University of Nebraska-Kearney on Friday followed by a match Sunday against the Tigers of Fort Hays State. Jewell is 0-2 on the season heading into the home opener under first-year head coach Thomas Bledsoe. The Cardinals return seven seniors to the squad, including goalkeeper Jenna Skeeters who led the team in saves a year ago and the likes of Jessica Baker and Kennedy Holloway who each netted a goal in the 5-2 loss on Friday against the Lopers.
