Greg May enters his second season as an assistant baseball coach at William Jewell College in 2019. He serves as the Cardinals pitching coach and assist with all recruiting efforts while also coordinating the William Jewell College Youth Baseball Camps along with helping to place current William Jewell baseball players into summer leagues.

• In 2019, Thomas Hennelly helped lead the Cardinals to a win over No. 6 Quincy with a complete game shutout effort which earned his GLVC Pitcher of the Week honors.
• Wyatt Schulz was named the GLVC Pitcher of the Week on April 23, 2018 after tossing a complete game shutout of Drury University.

• May comes to Jewell after a successful three years as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kan.
• Prior to Bethany, he spent time as the pitching coach at Pamona College in Claremont, Calif. and MacMurry College in Jacksonville, Ill.
• He started his coaching career as a high school baseball coach in Malibu, Calif. and has also worked extensively for years in California youth baseball programs.
• May also served as an intern at the Texas Baseball Ranch under well respected pitching performance, velocity training and arm health expert Ron Wolforth.

• May was a four-year starter on the mound for Claremont McKenna College.

• May is a native of Los Angeles, Calif. and earned his bachelor's degree in History and Government from Claremont McKenna followed by a master's in Management at the University of Redlands.
