Matt Crawford enters his fifth season as an assistant coach for the Jewell baseball program in 2022.



• March 5, 2020 | Named Assistant Baseball Coach 



• Has helped mentor five All-GLVC performers, including catcher Tyler Murphy 



• Is the head coach of the MSBL Royals in the Kansas City Ban Johnson Collegiate League 
 


• Maintained a 1.91 earned run average and was a member of three Jewell teams who reached the postseason
• Was a part of the 2015 team which received the top seed in the NCAA Midwest Regional, becoming the first men's team to reach the NCAA Tournament                         



• A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma
• Earned his bachelor's degree in psychological sciences with a minor entrepreneurial leadership from William Jewell in 2017 and a master's in counseling psychology from Saint Mary (KS) in 2019
