Eric Conner enters his first season as an assistant football coach in 2020, working primarily with running backs and tight ends.

• Conner comes to the Cardinals from McPherson College (Kan.) where he coached running backs and full backs.
• Was also responsible for academics, video and social media at McPherson
• Spent time at Tohopekalia and Gateway High Schools serving as the offensive line coach
• Also worked with Air Force Academy and Macalester College in digital media and facilities respectively
• Was a two-year starter on the offensive line for Macalester College
• Appeared in 27 career games for the Scots
• Also a three-year letterwinner at Dunbar High School (Fla.)
• A native of Lehigh Acres, Florida he earned he bachelor's degree in biology from Macalester in 2017 followed by a master's in kinesiology from Georgia Southern
