Ryan Schleusner joined the Cardinal football staff in March 2025 and will work primarily with the tight ends.

• Has spent the last seven years at teh high school level at Winnetonka and Lafayette High Schools, coaching on both sides of the ball
• Mentored 22 All-Conference, 11 All-District, and three All-State performers in those stints
• Served three seasons as the Assistant Head Coach at Fairmont State University, helping lead the team to their best record in 50 years in 2016 with an NCAA playoff appearance
• Helped Fairmont to back-to-back eight win seasons for the first time since the mid-1960s, coaching one All-American and four All-Conference offensive linemen
• Also spent time at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and Northwest Missouri State, where he was part of the 2010 MIAA Championship and national semifinal run

• Played collegiately at Missouri, where he was a member of two Bowl Championship teams
• Won the 2007 and 2008 Big 12 North Division and was part of the winningest senior class in program history
• Starred at Maryville High School (Mo.), earning All-Conference and All-District honors and leading his team to a state semifinal appearance

• A native of Maryville, Missouri
• Earned his bachelor's degree in recreation management from the University of Missouri in 2010 followed by a master's from Northwest Missouri State
• Married to spouse Sarah and has three children
