Matt Gilbertson enters his sixth year as the Director of Sports Medicine and is the primary contact for football, men's basketball, and men's and women's golf in 2024-2025.

• Served as the interim head athletic trainer at the University of Texas - Permian Basin.
• Began his career as a graduate assistant at Northwest Missouri State where he worked the national championship Bearcat football program as well as baseball, volleyball, and track and field
• Earned his undergraduate degree from Culver-Stockton College and a master's in applied health sciences from Northwest Missouri State
