Deardin Kelley was named the 16th head volleyball coach in program history on February 1 and will enter her first season at the helm in 2024.

• Spent two years as the head coach at Coffeyville Community College (KJCCC), leading the program to 48 wins
• Inherited a program with five players before going 26-10 in first season with an appearance in the Region IV Tournament championship in 2022
• Followed up with a 22-14 overall mark in her second year including 13-2 at home
• Mentored four All-Conference and All-Region players in two seasons while both her teams earned KJCCC All-Academic honors
• Spent two years as an assistant/interim head coach at Labette Community College
• Has also served as a coach with Team USA, overseeing teams competing in Spain and Australia

• Played collegiately at Fort Scott Community College, amassing 404 kills and 315 digs as an outside hitter
• Completed her career at Southwestern College (Kan.) where she was an NAIA Scholar-Athlete

• A native of Carl Junction, Missouri
• Earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Southwestern followed by a master's in human resource development with an emphasis in leadership and organizational development at Pittsburg State
• Also holds an associate degree in science from Fort Scott
