Over the weekend, McKinley led the men's basketball team to the first Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship in any team sport since joining the league. The fifth year senior was named the Tournament Most Valuable Player averaged 21 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.6 blocked shots over three games. During the stretch, he shot 49% from the field while hitting a game tying three in the last seconds of regulation in the semifinals to upset top seed UIndy.
