The William Jewell College volleyball team fell 3-1 in Great Lakes Valley Conference volleyball action against Bellarmine University on Sunday in Liberty, Mo.

The Knights won by scores of 25-16, 25-22, 26-28 and 25-23.

Elsey Hopkins had 13 kills, Cailyn Hayter posted 27 assists and Katie Damgar had 15 digs as the trio paced the Cardinals, who fell to 9-7 overall and 5-6 in the GLVC.

The Cardinals will next compete in the GLVC/GLIAC Crossover tournament October 14 and 15 in Aurora, Ill.
