INDIANAPOLIS - William Jewell junior
Alexis Frazier has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletics Solutions Setter of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday. She is joined by Lewis University's Sarah Newberry (offensive) and Upper Iowa's Morgan Block (defensive) as the weekly honorees after the conference's dominant showing at the Midwest Region Crossover.
Over the weekend, the junior led Jewell to a 3-0 mark with victories over Malone, Roosevelt, and Thomas More to surpass the team's win total from last season. In the three matches, Frazier posted 11.60 assists, 2.40 digs, 1.20 blocks and 0.60 aces per set, while adding two kills, earning a spot on the Crossover All-Tournament Team. Her performances were highlighted by a career high 50 assist, six block outing in the win over Roosevelt, which marks the second most assists in a four-set match in Jewell's NCAA era.
This is the first weekly nod for Frazier in her career and the first ever Setter of the Week honor for the Cardinals since the award's inception in 2024.
