The William Jewell College softball team swept Drury University in a Great Lakes Valley Conference doubleheader in Springfield, Mo., on Saturday.  Jewell was victorious 2-0 in game one and 6-1 in game two.

In game one, Jewell scored single runs in the second and fourth which proved to be all they would need.
Rachael Hayden (9-4) held the Panthers at bay by tossing seven shutout innings giving up only 3 hits. 

Kelsey Teneycke finished 2-3 with an RBI.

In game two the Cards scored three in the third and three in the seventh for the 6-1 win. Brittany Madsen finished 3-4 with an RBI and Ashley Barrett went 2-3 with two runs scored. 

Corrine Frei went the distance giving up five hits and one run while striking out three.

The Cardinals (24-13, 15-6 GLVC) will take on Missouri S&T tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. in Rolla, Mo.
