The William Jewell College men's basketball team continued non-conference play tonight against former Heart of America Athletic Conference foe Missouri Valley College (NAIA) and were victorious over the visiting Vikings 80-67. This win puts the Card at 4-4 on the season (1-0 in GLVC play).

The Cardinals shot 45.8% (27-59) from the field, closely rivaled by Missouri Valley's 43.6% (24-55).

Darius Tomlin lead the team in points scored with 22 points, for his fourth game with over 20 points this season. Christian Hildebrandt was close behind with 21 points, which is the third time this season he has eclipsed the 20 point mark in a game.

D'Vante Mosby had his first double-double with 12 points and team-high 10 rebounds on the night.

Andre Scott led the Vikings with 20 points and 7 rebounds. 

The Cardinals finish non-conference play on Saturday December 20 as they host Avila University. Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Mabee Center.
