Cards Taken Down In Three By Panthers


The William Jewell College volleyball team battled against Drury University in three sets tonight, falling to the Panthers. 

The Cardinals held their own in the first set 21-25, but dwindled in the second and third 19-25 and 15-25 respectively. Christina Pratt led the Cardinals with 10 kills and two blocks.  The setter, Amy Lindhorst assisted the Cards 24 times at the net. 

On Tuesday September 30, the Cardinals travel to Rockhurst University for a 7:00 pm start time. Jewell is now 2-10 on the season and 1-5 in the GLVC.
