William Jewell lost its third straight Great Lakes Valley Conference match Tuesday at Rockhurst, losing to the Hawks in straight sets (25-21, 25-15 and 25-14).
 
The match turned when Rockhurst went on a 7-2 run late in the first set to take the 25-21 set win.  Jewell was not able to recover from there and the Hawks took sets two and three for the match win. 

Kelsey Wagner led Jewell with 10 kills and Libby Ording had 8 for Jewell.  Megan Hellwege  had 17 assists and one ace and Lesley Iron posted 14 digs.

The Cardinals (2-11, 1-6 GLVC) travel to Kirksville, Mo., on Friday to take on Truman State University.  First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
