After a disappointing loss at Southern Indiana on Friday, the William Jewell College men's basketball team fell to the Bellarmine Knights on Sunday, 70-50 in Louisville, Kentucky.

A strong opening half put the Cards up 30-25,going into the break with senior
Christian Hildebrandt leading the way with 11 points at the break, which lead both teams.

The Knights opened up the second half on a 7-1 run, putting them up by one. The teams scored back-and-forth until the Knights went on a key 26-6 run which the Cardinals could not answer back, and fell 70-50.
Hildebrandt lead the team with 14 points scored and
D'Vante Mosby lead the team with 6 rebounds.

The Cardinals return to the Mabee Center on Thursday for a conference game against the University of Indianapolis. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. The Cards are currently 5-6 overall and 1-2 in GLVC play on the season.
