The William Jewell College volleyball team was swept by No. 8 Rockhurst Tuesday night by scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-20. The loss drops Jewell to 8-21 overall, 2-14 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. 
Rockhurst dominated much of the first two sets as they nearly doubled the Cardinals in kills and blocks. The Hawks posted a .352 attack percentage, including .464 in the opening set, compared to Jewell's .088 clip. 
In the final set Jewell battled to a 16-17 score led four kills from 
Madeline Johnson, before the Hawks pulled away at the end to win 25-20. 
The Cardnials upped their attack percentage to .143 and nearly doubled their kill total as they posted 14 in the final frame, compared to just 16 through the first two. 
Senior 
Kaylee Marquardt led Jewell with eight kills and 11 digs with 
Paige Cunningham following close behind with seven kills, and three blocks. 
Kelsey Wagner and Johnson grabbed six and five kills respectively while 
Codi Winslow posted 11 digs. 
The Cardinals will finish out the 2015 season with a trip to Truman State on Friday at 7:00 p.m. followed by a matchup with Quincy on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
