The William Jewell Cardinal Baseball team finished their four game Great Lakes Valley Conference series with Truman State on Sunday afternoon at Talley Stadium. Truman won game one 6-4 and the Cards rallied for two runs in the bottom of the ninth to win game two 5-4.
Game one belonged to the Bulldogs after the Cards tied the score at 3 Truman put the game away with two runs in the top of the fifth.
Preston Felgate (4-1) took the loss hurling four innings giving up five hits and three runs while striking out four.
In game two, Jewell trailed 4-3 entering the bottom of the ninth. After the Cards tied the game
Jesse Gray scored on a fielders choice from
Bryan Porting to give Jewell the walk off win.

Luke Lucchetti led the Cardinal offense going 2-4 with three RBI's and a run scored.
Dylan Pollock (3-0) earned the win in relief tossing three innings and striking out five batters.
Jewell (18-5, 9-3 GLVC) will travel to Kansas City, Mo., to take on Rockhurst University on Wednesday, April 1 with a doubleheader starting at 3:00 p.m.
