The William Jewell College baseball team split a Great Lakes Valley Conference doubleheader on Wednesday at Rockhurst University winning game one, 11-1 before dropping a 6-3 decision in game two.

Luke Lucchetti went 3-5 with two RBI's and a run scored while
Coleman Waheed was 2-5 with an RBI and two runs scored.Â
Dylan Pollock (3-0) earned the win as he gave up only two earned runs while striking out four.
Rockhurst scored five runs in the bottom of the third in game two, which proved too much for the Cardinals to overcome.Â
Sam Morman was 2-3 with two RBI's and a run scored while Lucchetti picked up another two hits.Â
Tim Miller (2-2) took the loss while giving up six earned runs in three innings of work.
William Jewell (19-6, 10-4 GLVC) will head to Quincy, Ill., to take on Quincy University in a four game set starting Friday at 12:00 p.m.
