The William Jewell College baseball team fell 14-7 in their last road contest of the 2015 season to Newman University on Wednesday, in Wichita, Kan.
The Cardinals trailed the Jets 3-0 after two innings before Jewell came up with a huge seven run top of the third highlighted by a three-run double from shortstop
Coleman Waheed.
Newman scored a single run in the bottom of the fourth and put the game away with a nine run bottom of the seventh.
Waheed led Jewell with three RBI's while going 1-3 and
Bryan Rezin was 2-4 with two RBI's.
The Cardinals 33-13 on the season will close out the 2015 regular season with a four game series against Drury University that will start on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
