Senior Offensive Lineman Brandon Klewer (Kansas City, Mo./Lee's Summit West) and junior defensive end Aaron Neier (Washington, Mo./ St. Francis Borgia HS) will represent William Jewell College at the 2015 Great Lakes Valley Conference Football Kickoff, which will take place at McKendree University in Lebanon, Ill. on July 31.
 
The players will join first year head coach Shawn Weigel at the fourth annual event, which brings together 18 student-athletes and all nine GLVC head coaches for the social media event. The GLVC Kickoff serves the league's media members and passionate fans through several social media outlets and at GLVCsports.com.
 
Klewer returns to anchor an offensive line that allowed the Cardinals' passing unit to rank third in the league last year in passing offense (245.9).  The senior earned first-team All-Conference accolades last season after being awarded second-team distinction in 2013.
 
Neier compiled 26 tackles and half a sack in eight games played last year, after notching nine stops in five games during the 2013-14 season.
 
Fans are encouraged to participate in the event through a variety of social media platforms, and interact with each GLVC school as they rotate through stations over the course of the event.
