In the final set Jewell looked like the Cardinals of the past week as they jumped out to a 5-1 lead behind two blocks and a kill from sophomore
Paige Cunningham, to force a Quincy timeout. The Hawks battled back to tie the game multiple times but each time the Cardinals managed to pull back in front. With the score knotted at 17 the Hawks made a run behind four kills from Bekah Raebel to take a 22-19 lead. Jewell battled back but the Hawks won the late momentum and the set 25-22.
