The William Jewell men's and women's swimming teams opened the 2017-18 season with big wins over Barton Community College and Midland University on Saturday afternoon in the Mabee Center. The Cardinal men posted a 88-32 win over Barton and 88-33 victory over Midland, while the women's team was victorious 74-13 over Barton.
