The No. 25 William Jewell men's basketball suffered a 80-66 loss at the hands of Wisconsin-Parkside on Thursday night in Kenosha, Wis. The Cardinals fall to 15-3 overall and 5-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Jewell went scoreless for nearly seven minutes while UWP went on 13-0 run to push their lead to 11 with under three minutes remaining in the half. The Cardinals closed the half on a 8-0 run by Patrick Whelan, including a three pointer at the buzzer to pull within three at the break 34-31.
- Byron Harp's three 46 seconds into the second half tied the game at 34. The Rangers pushed their lead back to six and remained on top for the next six minutes. Eysan Wiley's old fashioned three point play put Jewell back on top 54-53 with 10 minutes to play. UWP scored 10 of the next 13 points to regain the lead and never looked back, hitting 15-of-17 free throws over the final three minutes to steal the win.
