Box Score 2 The William Jewell softball team dropped a double header to Rockhurst University on Sunday afternoon by scores of 8-0 and 7-0. With the losses the Cardinals fall to 17-11 overall and 4-4 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- T4: The Hawks jumped on top with six runs in the top of the fourth on six hits. (6-0, RU)
- T5: Rockhurst got a two-run home run from Taylor Rupe to push the Jewell deficit to eight and end the game early. (8-0, RU)
PITCHERS
Winning Pitcher: Shannon Greene (9-11) earned the win, allowing just two hits.
Losing Pitcher:
Anna Biondo (7-6) suffered the loss, giving up ten hits while striking out four.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- T4: Rockhurst got on the board first with a run on two hits in the fourth inning. (1-0, RU)
- T6: The Hawks extended their lead in the sixth, on one hit and taking advantage of a Jewell error. (3-0, RU)
- T7: Rockhurst tacked on four runs on five hits in the final frame. (7-0, RU)
PITCHERS
Winning Pitcher: Greene (10-11) earned her second win of the day with a complete game effort.
Losing Pitcher:
Madelynne Greenstreet (7-3) took the loss, allowing one earned run while striking our four Hawks.
