The William Jewell College women's tennis team won their second straight Great Lakes Valley Conference match defeating Truman State 8-1 on senior day Saturday at Clayview Country Club.

The Cards took a 2-1 lead in doubles thanks to wins by first-year players
Morgan Holopirek and
Julia Yamate at No. 2 and juniors
Hannah Waine and
Whitney Holloman at No. 3.
Jewell swept all six singles matches including three set wins from
Claire Mackay at No. 1,
Becca Richison at No. 2,
Hannah Waine at No. 3 and
Julia Yamate at No. 5. Holloman won in straight sets at No. 4 and Holopirek disposed of her opponent 8-1.

The Cardinals will continue GLVC play when they travel to Drury University on Friday, April 6. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m.
