The William Jewell football team hosted No. 11 ranked Indianapolis on Saturday and fell 59-7 to drop to 1-4 overall and 0-3 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. 

How it Happened

• The Greyhounds got six touchdowns on seven possessions to open the game to jump out to a 42-point advantage. 
• Jewell got on the board just before the half as Will Schneider connected with Jalik Jaggwe for a 45-yard touchdown pass. 
• UIndy got two more touchdowns and a field goal in the second half to bring the score to the final. 

For the Cardinals

• Schneider accounted for 196 yards and a touchdown to lead the Cardinals. 
• Jaggwe collected 65 yards on just two catches. 
• Brock Geisz once again led the defense with 10 tackles. 
• Dalton Dye punted nine times for an average of 43.8 per kick. 

 

For the Greyhounds

• Al McKeller posted a game-high 124 yards rushing on 18 carries and three touchdowns. 
• Quarterback TJ Edwards totaled 218 yards and two scores. 
• The UIndy defense totaled six sacks and limited the Cardinals 174 yards of total offense.
