How it Happened
  • The Patriots took an early 3-2 lead to open the game followed by a 19-2 Jewell run to open a 17-point advantage after less than eight minutes of play. Jewell expanded the lead to as many as 25 after two free throws from Eysan Wiley before Baptist Bible closed the half with a 21-12 run to make it a 54-38 Cardinal lead at the break.
  • Baptist Bible got a three from Jordan Lopez less than five minutes into the second half to cut the lead to just 10 but Jewell used a 15-5 spurt, capped by a three from Mason Alexander to push the advantage back to 20. A jumper by Deandre Raggs with 49 seconds to play gave Jewell their biggest lead of the day at 33.

For the Cardinals
  • Wiley led six players in double-figures with 19 points while also pulling down 14 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Alexander added 18 points, Robbie Hanson 12 and Raggs 11.
