The William Jewell baseball team fell by a final of 17-7 to Cameron University on Monday afternoon in Oklahoma City, Okla. The loss drops Jewell to 5-4 on the season. 


HOW IT HAPPENED

• T1: The Aggies jumped out on top in the opening half inning with two runs on four hits and a Cardinal error. (2-0, CU)
• B1: Jewell responded quickly taking advantage of six free passes to plate three runs and take the lead. (3-2, Jewell)
• T3: Cameron tied the game in the third on a single to right field by J. Prince. (3-3)
• T4: The Aggies broke the game open in the fourth scoring six runs on four hits. (9-3, CU)
• T5: CU continued the offensive attack, adding five runs on five hits in the fifth frame. (14-3, CU)
• B5: The Cardinals got a run back in the bottom of the frame as Tyler Murphy plated Cody Lampe on a sacrifice fly. (14-4, CU)
• B6: Chase Redick got a two-out single and came around to score on a base hit from Christian Chalabi to add another run for the Cardinals. (14-5, CU)
• B7: Jewell cut the lead in half in the following frame, scoring two runs on three hits. (14-7, CU) 
• T8: Cameron pushed the advantage back to 10, scoring three runs on two hits and a Jewell error. (17-7, CU)
