The William Jewell men's basketball team fell by a final of 89-59 on Saturday to Drury University. The Cardinals drop to 9-15 on the season and 4-12 in conference action. 

How it Happened

• The Cardinals got off to a slow start, not scoring for more than five minutes, as Drury built a 13-0 lead. A layup by Nick Bradley kick started thing as Jewell followed with a 13-0 run of their own to tie the game with 11:47 to go in the opening half. In a half full of runs, Drury went on another, this time at 20-8 to push their lead back to double digits, but Bradley hit two threes in the final 1:40 to pull Jewell within six at the half. 
• Drury came out of the break and quickly grew their lead to more than 20, outscoring the Cardinals 23-5 over the first seven minutes. Jewell cut the deficit to 17 but could get no closer. 

For the Cardinals

• In his final home game, Bradley put on a show, scoring a career best 29 points, his second straight career high, to go along with five steals and two assists. 
• Eysan Wiley added 17 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks. 
• As a team, the Cardinals shot just 32% from the field but did connect on 12-of-15 free throws. 

For the Panthers

• Cal Hartley led Drury with 28 points and 10 rebounds while Conley Garrison added 20 and nine assists. 
• Drury shot better than 52% from the floor, including hitting 14 three pointers.
