The William Jewell men's basketball dropped a 92-63 decision to Indianapolis on Saturday in Great Lakes Valley Conference action. The Cardinals fall to 9-13 on the season and 4-10 in league play. 


How it Happened

• With the Cardinals trailing by just two UIndy went on a 29-7 tear, including holding Jewell scoreless for nearly five minutes, to open up a 24 point lead. Four points by Nick Bradley helped the Cardinals pull back within 17 by the break. 
• Jewell cut their deficit down to 15 in the second half but the Greyhounds built their lead back to as big as 32 by game's end.

For the Cardinals 

• 12 players scored at least two points for the Cardinals who were led by Robbie Hanson's nine. 
• Jewell connected on just 3-of-22 three point attempts, but only one through the first 38 minutes of play. 
• The Cardinals shot 37% from the field and connected on 14-of-17 from the free throw line. 

For the Greyhounds

• Marcus Latham came off the bench to lead all scorers with 23 points while Trevor Lakes added 16. 
• UIndy forced 16 turnovers which led to 24 points.
