HAMMOND, Ind. - The William Jewell volleyball team fell 3-0 to Ursuline College on Friday in the opening round of the Midwest Region Crossover. The Cardinals drop to 6-13 on the season. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Cardinals opened set one with a 7-3 advantage but Ursuline used a 9-3 run to go in front. The Arrows continued their streak, outscoring the Cardinals 13-6 over the remainder of the set to win 25-16. 
• Set two was a back-and-forth affair from first serve. Tied at 20 after a kill from Hannah Cope, the Cardinals fell behind by two late before a missed serve ended the set, 25-23, in favor of UC. 
• The finale was much of the same until Jewell fell in a 22-18 hole late in the set. A kill by Anna Godfredsen pulled Jewell back within three but a kill by the Arrows gave UC the match, 25-22. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Chloe Robison led the offense with 11 kills on a .556 attack percentage to go with six blocks. 
• Haidan Baade finished with 13 digs while Cope had 28 assists.
