LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell women's basketball team hung with Lincoln University of Missouri for three quarters, before the Blue Tigers used a big final period to win 65-50 and push the Cardinals to 0-4 to start the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED

- The Blue Tigers expanded their lead to five early in the second half only to see Jewell rally and cut it to two after another Knock triple.
- Lincoln followed with a 22-6 run to break open an 18-point advantage midway through the final period. A three from D'Asya Collier-Williams got the Cardinals with 13 but that was as close as Jewell could get.
