LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell women's basketball team dropped a 79-34 decision to Indianapolis on Saturday in the Mabee Center to fall to 7-9 on the season. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• UIndy raced out of the gates, hitting 6-of-8 three point attempts in the first quarter, to lead 28-12 after just 10 minutes. 
• The Cardinal offense continued to struggle in the second and third frames, totaling just seven points as the Greyhounds opened up a 64-19 lead. 
• Jewell played evenly with the Greyhounds in the final period as Libby Arnold and Rachel Schon combined for nine points. 

FOR THE CARDINALS

• Sydney Offield led the Cardinals with nine points while Macyn Wilbers had five rebounds. 
• Jewell totaled 12 steals, led by three from Bailey Russell. 
• The Caridnals shot 23% from the field on the day. 

FOR THE GREYHOUNDS

• Four Greyhounds finished in double-figures led by Taylor Drury' 19. 
• UIndy shot 53% from the floor and 50% from three.
