  • Kayla Crowder continued to prove she is one of the biggest threats in the conference this year, scoring her first goal of the season, and 13th of her career, making her one of 17 players in the GLVC to have scored in the season's opening weekend. In total, the senior has more than 150 shots, 70 of which have been on target.
  • The Cardinals allowed double-digit shots in both games over the weekend but the team of Wagenheim and Kaylie Kappelmann held strong in the net, combining for 11 saves, which ranks Jewell 22nd nationally with 5.50 saves per game.

  • Jasmine Collier had the assist on Kayla Crowder's game-tying goal in the 83rd minute on Sunday at Missouri S&T giving her four in her career. She has recorded at least one assist in each of her three seasons as a Cardinal.
  • Sunday will be Senior Day for the Cardinals who will recognize their seven seniors following the game. Typically Senior Day occurs during the final home weekend of the season, however, the Cardinals will recognize the class early this year to ensure their is opportunity to do so. Should Jewell or opponents be quarantined or isolated and the game be canceled, alternative options will still be available later in the season.
