LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell women's basketball team fell 84-50 to Lewis University on Saturday afternoon in their final home contest of the season. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Cardinals got off to a slow start offensively, falling in an early 18-point hole in the first quarter and tailed 45-19 at the break.
• After falling behind by 32 midway through the third period, the Cardinals made a 10-1 run to cut the deficit to 61-38, following back-to-back buckets from Skyler Boylan and a traditional three-point play from Katelynn Ostronic, but the Cardinals could get no closer. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Lea Finn, the lone active senior on the Jewell roster, led the way with 15 points while Katie Knock added 13.
• Knock also grabbed three steals and blocks two shots.
• Boylan led teh team with five rebounds.
