PITTSBURG, Kan. - The William Jewell track and field teams traveled southwest to Pittsburg State University over the weekend to take part in the seventh annual Gorilla Classic. Jewell totaled five student-athletes who posted career best marks.

• McKenna Fulton, 600 yards (1:38.52) 
• Svea Pierson, 600 yards (1:35.48)
• Payton McCormick, 60 hurdles (9.18) 
• Antonio Porter, Jr., 60 meters (7.14)
• Fabian Reyes, 600 yards (1:25.63) 

UP NEXT
Jewell will wrap up the indoor portion of the schedule next weekend as they travel to Indianapolis, Indiana for the 2022 Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Championships.
