EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The William Jewell women's basketball team put four players in double figures on Saturday in a 86-51 loss at Southern Indiana. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Cardinals got off to a slow start offensively in the first quarter, falling in an 28-10 hole after 10 minutes. 
• Jewell held the Screaming Eagles to 31% from the floor in the second period, being outscored by just two, 19-17. Trailing by 22, the Cardinals went on a 8-0 run, with three different players scoring, to cut the deficit to 14. 
• USI outscored Jewell 39-24 in the second half to take the win. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Katie Knock and Skyler Boylan (career high) led the Cardinals with 11 points a piece while Libby Arnold and Katelynn Ostronic added 10.
• Arnold flirted with a double-double, pulling down nine rebounds while Knock swiped three steals. 

UP NEXT
The Cardinals return to the Mabee Center for their final final home stand of the season next week beginning with Maryville on Monday, in a make up contest from early January.
